Mapping the Psychophysiology of Commitment

This is a Fundação BIAL-funded project (Research project “132/2022 – Mapping the Psychophysiology of Commitment“) investigating the psychophysiological processes that enable individuals performing joint actions with partners to come to feel committed and regulate their behaviour accordingly to remain committed and resist temptations.

Our interdisciplinary approach combines theoretical research with behavioural analysis and neuroimaging techniques at the Cognition in Action Lab, one of the research units of the PhiLab, Department of Philosophy, University of Milan. We work in collaboration with Warwick University and the Central European University.
